In this article, we will discuss the volume of one bag cement.

Before starting any construction site, we should determine the volume of materials for the estimation of cost. We are going to determine the volume of one bag of cement in an m3.

Cement plays a vital role in construction. Nowadays, without cement, there is no construction is carried out. Without the use of cement very hard to build hard and durable structures. In the market, cement is available as a packed bag whose weight is kept at 50 kg. Here, we will calculate how to convert 1 bag of cement that is 50 kg of cement into volume.

### 1. Grade of Cement

Cement is found in different grades, grade-33, grade-44, grade-54, etc. OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) is found in three grades as above but PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement) is found in only one grade which is approximately equal to grade-33 of OPC cement. PPC is more durable and environmentally friendly than OPC. The volume of one bag of cement/50 kg cement.

### 2. Volume of One Bag Cement

We have the following data for cement,

Mass of one bag of cement 50 Kg for one Bag

The density of cement is 1440 kg/m3

Now, we need to calculate the volume of one bag of cement.

So, Volume of Cement: = Mass/ Density =50/1440 = 0.0347 m3

Also, you can convert this volume from cubic meters to cubic feet, Just you need to multiply the volume of 1 bag of cement by 35.3147 or use an online cubic feet calculator.

So,

1 m3 cement = 35.3147 ft3

=0.0347* 35.3147

= 1.225 ft3

Hence,

The volume of cement in a meter cube = 0.0347 m3

The volume of cement in a feet cube = 1.225 ft3
