US plan to invest $760 Billion for Infrastructure

The US has prepared a 5-years plan to invest $ 760 Billion in Infrastructure development. The safety group, quoting federal data, said; 36,560 peoples were killed in different road accident in 2018. Cathy Chase, president of Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety, said in a statement that 100 people (average)  are dying and thousands are getting injured each day in road accidents. So, this investment will be focused on safety.

The investment will be done in:

a. Advanced Vehicle technologies like automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning (LDW) and blind-spot detection (BSD);

b. For Pedestrian and bicyclist safety ;

c. Efficient performance autonomous vehicle (AV) technology;

d. Consumers Information;&

e. Alcohol and drug-impaired driving countermeasures.

The investment will be done in different sectors like highways, rail, and transit systems, airports, ports and harbours, wastewater and drinking water infrastructure, and broadband. The main effort will be given to develop and use advanced technology and long-lasting projects.
